From the Whitecoat Waste Project:
Official records show “Robert” was a friendly orange and white tabby cat at a local Utah animal shelter. After waiting to be adopted into a new home, The University of Utah purchased him for $15 under POUND SEIZURE and renamed him “F09-017” as the latest subject of its invasive and painful animal experiments.
Professor Bradley Greger then drilled into Robert’s skull and surgically hard-wired electrodes directly into Robert’s brain. Robert grew increasingly withdrawn and depressed. He vomited repeatedly. Finally, Robert was forced into yet ANOTHER series of experiments in which an electrical current was fired through the electrodes in his brain to induce involuntary leg twitches.
YOU were forced to PAY THE BILL through TAXPAYER-FUNDED animal experimentation.
Fortunately, this story has a happy ending as Robert was eventually adopted out into a loving and real home. But right now there are MANY more Roberts suffering as victims of pound seizure and taxpayer-funded animal experimentation.
